ARBOShield Pro Class B W1 Breather Membrane is ideal for light steel frame (SFS) walling applications, making it particularly suitable for high-rise and high-risk buildings such as schools, hospitals, care homes, and residential blocks, where it helps reduce the spread of fire. It is also appropriate for modular off-site construction. The membrane’s composition limits the spread of fire across a façade, with minimal risk of smoke or burning droplets in the event of a fire. ARBOShield Pro Class B W1 Breather Membrane can be installed on any Class A rated substrate.

APPLICATION

Unroll the ARBOShield Pro Class B W1 Breather Membrane and secure it directly to the sheathing or insulation. The membrane should be fixed to the substrate using the appropriate fixings, with a maximum spacing of 600mm horizontally and 500mm vertically, using stainless steel staples. For SFS substrates, the membrane should be mechanically secured with fixings that include an EPDM type washer. All laps around perimeter edges should be sealed with ARBOShield Pro Class B High Tack adhesive tape. Vertically, the membrane must overlap by at least 150mm, with joints arranged in a staggered pattern. For horizontal laps, ensure a minimum 100mm overlap, starting from the bottom and working upwards, so the upper layer covers the lower one, protecting the substrate from water run-off.

Install fixing brackets for cladding or wall ties according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and take care at the interface between the membrane and fixing brackets. If cavity barriers are installed horizontally, the membrane should overlap the DPC tray to allow for water run-off. When ARBOShield Pro Class B W1 Breather Membrane is used as the external airtightness layer, overlaps and penetrations should be sealed using ARBOShield Pro Class B black membrane sealing tape.

The membrane is highly UV resistant, allowing for extended exposure in both summer and winter without compromising performance. Care should be taken during installation to avoid damage to the membrane. For small punctures less than 50mm, use ARBOShield Pro Class B black membrane sealing tape for repairs. For larger punctures exceeding 50mm, replace the damaged section with new membrane and seal the insertion with tape.

I made a purchase from Sealant Supplies for Mapei Kerapoxy (5kg) (who were significantly cheaper than elsewhere, I ended up buying 4 tubs!).For those in the know.... this is an excellent product, easy to apply, excellent finish and most important the only product to use when you want your white grout to remain white!Epoxy grout is more expensive than normal grout, but in my view it works out so significantly cheaper. We did a huge bathroom, including steam shower, using 2 tubs.I always measure small quantities to mix, apply, have a cuppa, wash off, and the following morning wash again to remove any haze.The UK is very slowly becoming aware of the benefits of Epoxy grout, so this product is rarely kept in stock. Usually website do not advertise this, but inform you at point of purchase. On Sealant Supplies website, they were honest stating this was not a stocked item, and giving a rough delivery period. I was extremely pleased when the items we ordered where dispatch immediately and received the following day, in perfect condition.I normally do not write reviews (good or bad), but after having numerous issues with suppliers, it was such a pleasure to order something, and receive what I ordered timely, in perfect condition at the cheapest price.I cannot recommend this company enough, and will be using them going forward.

This was my first visit to sealant supplies, here’s my review; The website is so easy to navigate, which, for me is good as I do sometimes struggle with them. Tried to obtain Wide Gap Joint Fill unsuccessfully all over the country without success but Sealant Supplies came up trumps! Not only did they have it in stock but the price was lower than prices I had seen elsewhere (and the othes couldn't deliver anyway as they were 'out of stock'). Not only that but delivery was extremely quick too. Good company first class service!

James and the team were great. Our block paved back patio, side path & driveway were a mess. Over 15 years old, full of moss & weed and badly discoloured by black & white lichen. I was on a budget so forced to completely jet wash, bleach, re-colour, re-sand & seal from scratch (or replace with tarmac costing £'000). Decided to use Bond It "Drive Alive" products including the new black & brindle colour enhancer and patio seal. Found "Sealant Supplies" online so ordered over the internet, paid by PayPal. Orders confirmed by reply email. Goods delivered within 3 working days. Great service from the guys. Project cost a little over £500 of which +£350 with Sealant Supplies. Much cheaper solution than replacement. Photos speak for themselves.Thanks, Sealant Supplies!

Initially the items I ordered didn't turn up and when I contacted the team about this they were excellent, very apologetic and arranged for the items to be re-sent out straight away. Things do go wrong, probably with the delivery company, but the important thing is how they are dealt with when this happens and in this case the team at Sealant Supplies were brilliant.
