EVERBUILD OPTI-MIX CEMENT COLOURANT is a concentrated, one-shot colourant designed to provide uniform colour to all types of mortars, rendering, concrete, and pointing. The liquid disperses evenly through the mix, allowing for adjustable shading and a wide range of colour depths. Its concentrated formula means 1 litre is equivalent to 5 litres of standard colourant, making it efficient and cost-effective. The easy-to-use gauged bottle ensures less mess compared to powdered alternatives, and the product quickly disperses in the mix for consistent results.

EVERBUILD OPTI-MIX CEMENT COLOURANT is ideal for use in mortars, renders, and screeds, as well as pointing mortars and colouring cement-based tile grouts.
Application Method / Tools:
Shake the bottle well and remove the childproof cap by pushing down and turning counterclockwise. Squeeze the bottle to fill the measuring cap to the desired dosage (10 ml per cap). Add EVERBUILD OPTI-MIX CEMENT COLOURANT at the first stage of mixing, using 25 ml per 10 kg of mortar. Mix thoroughly to achieve an even colour and desired consistency. Clean all tools with water. Never add directly to the mix; always dilute in a portion of the gauging water, as the admixture contains a plasticiser that will reduce the total water needed.
Colour Options:
To avoid batch variations and ensure consistent colour, always use a full measure. For darker shades, increase the dosage, and for lighter shades, decrease it. For the best results with light colours, use white sand and cement in the mix. It’s recommended to conduct a small test mix to confirm the final colour.
Limitations:
- Not suitable for structural concrete.
- Not for use in lime-based mixes.
- Always use the same batch of sand and cement to avoid variations across large areas. It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability. If in doubt, consult the Technical Services Department for advice.
