EVERBUILD Filler Coat is a ready-to-use, thick basecoat designed for application on imperfect surfaces before painting. It effectively hides filled areas and prevents the reappearance of hairline cracks, offering full coverage of strong colors. This versatile product works like a roll-on filler, making it ideal for both walls and ceilings, and ensures a smooth, even surface.

Shelf Life: Use within 24 months.
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry place between +5°C and +25°C. Storing outside this range will significantly reduce the shelf life. Protect from frost.

EVERBUILD Filler Coat is ideal for hiding filled areas, covering and preventing the reappearance of hairline cracks, and completely concealing strong colours. It is perfect for use on both walls and ceilings.
SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT
Before application, ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and free from dust, crumbly material, or contaminants. Fill any surface defects with Everbuild® Fill & Skim and smooth down. Glossy surfaces should be sanded and cleaned with Everbuild® Sugar Soap Liquid. Protect furniture and floors with sheeting such as Everbuild® Dust Sheets or Roll & Stroll Floor Protectors, and ensure proper ventilation by opening windows and doors. New plaster or very porous surfaces should be primed with a diluted mixture of EVERBUILD® Filler Coat (1 part product to 4 parts water) and allowed to dry.
APPLICATION
Stir EVERBUILD® Filler Coat well before use. Touch in corners with a brush and apply an even coat using a short-pile roller or brush. Avoid overspreading. Allow to dry for 4–6 hours (longer in cold temperatures) before overcoating with emulsion-based paint. Ensure complete drying before overpainting. For very bold colours, a second coat may be needed.
LIMITATIONS
- Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or to heated surfaces.
- For holes, use a suitable filler from the Everbuild range.
- Very porous or powdery surfaces must be primed before painting.
- New plaster must be primed and fully dry before applying filler coat.
- Do not use in contact with bitumen.
- It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability for use in different applications; contact technical services for advice if needed.
