EVERBUILD 103 Trowel Mastic is a high-quality, oil-based mastic designed for perimeter pointing around wooden and metal window and door frames. It is trowel-applied, creating a durable, weather-tight seal and is also ideal for re-pointing brickwork or bedding frames into their surrounds. With an extended shelf life, it offers easier application compared to many competitors, while the added plasticizer enhances adhesion and reduces the risk of cracking.

Shelf Life and Storage Conditions:
The product has a shelf life of 9 months from the date of manufacture, provided it is stored in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Store at moderate temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.

Everbuild 103 Trowel Mastic is ideal for pointing around or bedding in windows and door frames, as well as for pointing brickwork.
APPLICATION
Substrate Preparation:
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or other contaminants.
Application Method/Tools:
Use a thin pointing trowel or putty knife to apply the product, working it thoroughly into the joint to eliminate voids. Smooth the finish into a triangular fillet. For fillet pointing between the frame and surround, joints should have a minimum width of 10 mm and a minimum depth of 6 mm.
Overpainting and Maintenance:
Once a surface skin has formed, the product can be fully protected with an undercoat and topcoat. Allow 28 days for drying before overpainting, using only oil-based paints. While overpainting prolongs the working life, it is not essential. Inspect annually and repair any defects as needed.
LIMITATIONS
Not suitable for use on plastic frames or heat-absorbing glass.
