Everbuild Mitre Fast Bonding Kit is a two-part instant adhesive system that includes a cyanoacrylate adhesive and aerosol activator, primarily used in the furniture, timber, kitchen, and plastics industries. Its fast bonding properties significantly reduce assembly times for mitre joints compared to traditional wood adhesives. The adhesive bonds most surfaces within 10 seconds and is also effective for bonding materials like MDF, rubber, PVCu, and metals. Its high viscosity reduces absorption on porous surfaces like wood and provides gap filling capabilities, filling small gaps in joints up to 0.2 mm.

Everbuild Mitre Fast Bonding Kit is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, bonding materials such as MDF, wood, chipboard, rubber, plastics, Perspex, uPVC, ceramics, aluminium, and metals. It is ideal for bonding cornice and profile mitres, trims, picture frames, skirting, architrave joints, worktop end strips, PVCu trims, and more. Particularly useful in production lines, it excels in electronics assembly and uPVC window trim bonding.
APPLICATION
Substrate Preparation: Ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, and other contaminants. To avoid extended setting times, store materials in a warm environment before bonding to prevent chilling of the glue line. Aim for a relative humidity of +50% in the working environment if possible.
Application Method/Tools: Spray one surface with the activator and apply the adhesive sparingly to the other surface. Bring the surfaces together, position, and hold for about 10 seconds.
LIMITATIONS
- Ensure surfaces are properly degreased before bonding.
- Not suitable for use on glass, in constant water immersion, or with bitumen or tar-leaching products.
- Not recommended for load-bearing applications.
- On wooden or porous surfaces, only use MITRE FAST ADHESIVE and no other cyanoacrylate.
