Bond It B3 rated PU foam is a quick, economic, and easy-to-apply solution that improves draught and heat insulation, fills irregular gaps, fixes framework, and deadens sound. Once cured, it can be cut, sawn, plastered, and sealed over, making it highly versatile. Available in 500ml and 750ml aerosol cans or a 750ml gun-grade canister for use with a standard foam applicator (BDAG1 or BDAK45), this foam adheres to most common building materials such as wood, concrete, stone, plaster, metal, PVC, and polystyrene. It is ideal for installing windows and doors, insulating pipes, and reducing the need for mechanical fixings.
Key Points:
- Low Curing Pressure: Avoids deformation of building elements.
- High Insulation Value: Excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties.
- Effective Filling: Good volume expansion for efficient gap filling.
- B3 Rating: Conforms to DIN 4102-1, non-shrinking, and ideal for various building applications.
Shelf Life: Minimum of 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored according to the manufacturer’s instructions in original, unopened containers.
Storage Conditions: Store and transport upright in a cool, dry location between +5°C and +30°C. Higher temperatures may shorten the shelf life. Do not store above +50°C. Keep away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and protect from frost.

Bond It ALL PURPOSE B3 FILL & FIX PU FOAM is a one-component polyurethane assembly foam made from a moisture-curing polyurethane prepolymer. Once cured, the foam does not shrink, minimizing the risk of joint deformation and separation from surfaces.
Areas of Application:
- Installation of window and door frames, and entrance door linings (where a clean and controlled backfill is needed)
- Filling holes
- Insulating penetrations
- Sealing thermal and acoustic insulation boards
- Sealing and connecting joints
Preparation
Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry, firm, and free from dust, grease, or any contaminants that could affect adhesion. Ensure surfaces are well-moistened with water. All construction components must be properly prepared before applying foam. It’s recommended to have FOAM CLEANER on hand. Chilled cans should be warmed in lukewarm water (below +45°C) but not exceeding +50°C to avoid risk of bursting. If cans are too hot (e.g., after being left in a vehicle), cool them using cold water. Shake the can occasionally during the warming process to speed up the temperature adjustment. Before application, shake the can thoroughly at least 15-20 times.
Application
As of August 24, 2023, adequate training is required for industrial or professional use. Always follow the can’s instructions. Wear gloves and eye protection, and avoid skin contact. For handheld use, hold the foam can upright, attach the applicator (straw), and turn the can upside down. Press the applicator trigger to release foam and adjust the output with the trigger. For gun-grade use, hold the foam can upright, attach it to the gun without pointing it at others, and turn the can with care. The foam output can be controlled with the gun trigger. The foam will expand by 1½ to 2 times, so avoid overfilling joints. Any fresh foam spills should be wiped away immediately with Bond It FOAM CLEANER before it becomes tack-free. Cured foam must be removed mechanically.
Limitations
This foam should not be used around fire doors to provide a fire seal against flames or smoke. Cured foam is sensitive to UV light and direct sunlight and should be covered with an opaque sealant, filler, paint, or other material. Ensure that lighter construction elements are firmly fixed before applying foam due to its high post-expansion. The foam does not bond well to surfaces like polythene, Teflon®, silicone, or wax-like materials.
Cleaning
Excess foam can be removed while still wet with Bond It GUN FOAM CLEANER or MULTI-WIPES. Once cured, foam can only be removed mechanically.
