A high-performance, self-adhesive protection material designed for covering and safeguarding hard floors and windows during painting, decorating, plastering, tiling, and general maintenance projects. It effectively protects against mess, dirt, spillages, and staining while offering a secure alternative to loose dust sheets. Ideal for covering glass and windows when painting frames and sills, it is waterproof, heavy-duty, and can be left in place for up to four weeks. Easy to apply by simply rolling it onto the surface, it adheres firmly for reliable protection and can be quickly removed without leaving residue.

Suitable for use on lacquered and plastic surfaces, aluminum, stainless steel, vinyl, hardwoods, laminates, glass, windows, hard PVC surfaces, worktops, cabinets, sills, and furniture surfaces.
Application
Before full application, perform a compatibility test on an inconspicuous area. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, moisture, and grease.
- Flooring: Place the roll on the floor with the open end facing away from the application direction. Unpeel approximately 300mm (12”) of the protective cover and adhere it firmly. Slowly push the roll forward using your foot or a soft brush, ensuring a straight, smooth application while eliminating air bubbles or creases. Confirm the film is securely in place before starting work.
- Other Surfaces: Unpeel approximately 300mm (12”) of COVER-IT and firmly press it onto the surface by hand. Unwind the roll while smoothing it down as you move forward.
- Glass/Windows: Suitable for protecting windows when painting frames and sills.
Removal
Easy and hassle-free removal thanks to the low-tack adhesive. Lift each edge in turn and pull back towards the center, containing any contaminants to prevent spills from escaping before removing the entire sheet.
Limitations
- Always test on a small area before full application.
- Ensure COVER-IT is securely adhered before starting work to reduce the risk of slips, trips, or falls.
- Replace COVER-IT after 4 weeks. In high-traffic areas or under intense light/heat exposure, replace at least once a week.
- Any residue can be removed by hand, with Bond It MULTI-WIPES, or Bond It FOIL SAFE CLEANER (check surface compatibility first).
- Do not use underfloor heating while COVER-IT is applied or within 24 hours before application.
- Not reusable – single-use only.
- Slippery when wet.
