Bond It Indian Stone Sealer is a solvent-free, advanced Fluoro polymer-based formulation designed to protect patios, particularly high-quality natural stone, by providing durable protection against water and oil penetration without altering the appearance or colour of the surface. It creates an easy-to-clean surface and helps prevent fungal and moss growth, ensuring long-lasting protection. This product is ideal for natural stones such as Indian sandstone, Yorkstone, limestone, and sandstone, and is particularly effective for protecting patios from water ingress and oil stains, including fat spills from barbecues. It is ready to use, requires no dilution, and should be applied as a single coat using a brush, roller, or squeegee. After 3-4 hours of drying time, the area can be trafficked.

Indian Stone Sealer protects patios and natural stone from water ingress and oil stains, making it particularly effective against fat spills and splashes from barbecues. Bond It INDIAN STONE SEALER provides long-lasting, highly effective protection without altering the colour or appearance of the surface.
Preparation
Remove any organic growth, lichens, or debris that may be present. For best results, use Bond It MOULD STOP or PATIO BLASTER as per the relevant data sheet. Wash away all debris and ensure the surface is completely dry, free from oil, grease, dust, and any loose material that may hinder adhesion.
Application
INDIAN STONE SEALER is ready to use and does not require dilution. Test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application to ensure compatibility. Shake well before use. Ensure the surface is completely dry, then apply a single coat using a brush, roller, or squeegee, ensuring no pooling or ponding occurs. Under dry, sunny conditions, the product will dry within 1-2 hours. Allow 3-4 hours before walking on the treated area. Recommended application temperature: +5°C to +30°C (cooler, humid conditions will slow drying times).
Application Notes
- Seal paviours before applying any pointing or jointing compound to prevent staining.
- Ensure the sealer has fully cured before pointing.
- Do not apply to uncured wet pointing or dry mix cement compounds.
- When applying to new paviours, allow sufficient weathering as per the paving manufacturer’s recommendations to avoid efflorescence.
- To determine if resealing is required, conduct a porosity test by sprinkling water on a small area—if the water beads, resealing is not necessary.
- Avoid applying over existing sealers or treatments, as adverse reactions may occur.
- Do not over-apply under any circumstances.
Cleaning of Tools
Rinse brushes and rollers thoroughly with warm, soapy water after use.
Limitations
- Do not apply to wet surfaces or in high humidity.
- Avoid application when rain is forecast (protect from rain for at least 48 hours).
- Keep children and pets away until fully cured.
- Prevent runoff from contaminating drains, waterways, or plants.
- Use only during warmer, drier months (April–October).
- If oil or petrol spills occur, clean immediately to prevent penetration.
- Do not use in temperatures below +5°C or above +30°C.
