Bond It Dustproofer and Hardener is a premium, chloride-free, low-viscosity product designed to penetrate and chemically seal concrete, enhancing its surface hardness. Ideal for both new and old concrete floors in garages, warehouses, factories, and workshops, it produces a durable, non-dusty surface. The product is applied in thin, uniform coats with a brush, with a second coat applied after the first has cured (usually overnight). For very porous surfaces, additional applications may be necessary. Once the final coat has dried, leave it for 24 hours before washing.

Bond It DUSTPROOFER & HARDENER is designed for sealing and hardening concrete floors, both new (minimum 28 days old) and old, in garages, warehouses, factories, and workshops. It penetrates into the concrete, creating a non-dusting, durable surface with enhanced resistance to oils, grease, and water.

 

 

Application: Always wear gloves, boots, and goggles during application. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, paint, or polish for optimal results. If needed, use Bond It BRICK & PATIO CLEANER to remove any stubborn stains before applying Bond It DUSTPROOFER & HARDENER. Apply evenly with a brush at a rate of 3-5m² per litre, ensuring no puddles form and working the product well into the floor. Allow the first coat to cure overnight before applying a second coat, typically sufficient for most floor types. After 24 hours, wash the floor with clean water to prevent efflorescence. Additional coats can be applied after curing, with a minimum of 24 hours before washing.

Overpainting: DUSTPROOFER & HARDENER can be overpainted once the surface is properly prepared, allowing the paint to adhere. After applying, allow 24 hours to cure, then wash off unreacted material, especially on power-floated floors, by sweeping or vacuuming away the water. Test in a small area to ensure paint will adhere and all unreacted material has been removed.

Cleaning Tools: Clean tools with plenty of clean water after use.

Limitations: Not for use on masonry or coloured concrete. Not recommended for very dense power-floated floors due to potential poor penetration. Do not wash the floor for at least 24 hours after the final coat, and this product will not restore disintegrating concrete.
