This high-performance, solvent-based stain-blocking coating is xylene- and lead-free, providing a fast-drying, permanent solution for stubborn stains. Designed for use before redecoration, it effectively covers spot marks, water and grease stains, nicotine, ink, and crayon, preventing them from reappearing. Suitable for interior use on various building surfaces, including brick, plaster, paint, and wood, it dries to the touch in just 15 minutes and is ready for redecoration in approximately two hours. With its quick and easy application, this coating ensures a smooth, prepared surface for painting or wallpapering.

Shelf Life & Storage: This product has a minimum shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool, dry place. As a pressurized container, it must be protected from sunlight and frost and should not be exposed to temperatures above +50°C. Always store and transport in an upright position.
Coverage: Covers approximately 1.5m², depending on application thickness.

This stain-blocking coating effectively prevents existing stains, including watermarks, mold stains, rust, nicotine, grease, soot, and ink, from bleeding through subsequent layers of paint or wallpaper. It is ideal for areas affected by damp, mold, nicotine, and grease. Before application, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease, oil, or any contaminants that may affect adhesion. Address the source of the stain, mask off areas requiring protection, and repair any holes, cracks, or surface imperfections. Not suitable for use on bitumen surfaces.
Preparation
Protect surrounding surfaces from overspray before application. If mold is present, wash affected areas with a suitable cleaning agent, such as Bond It MOULD STOP, and allow to dry. Remove rust and soot using a wire brush, then wash the area and let it dry completely.
Application
- Ensure proper ventilation. Shake the can well until the mixing ball rattles, then continue shaking for another 1-2 minutes. Shake frequently during use.
- Hold the can 20-30 cm away from the stained area and spray evenly in a sweeping motion. The multi-directional nozzle produces a vertical line when positioned horizontally and vice versa.
- Apply 2-3 coats as needed, allowing at least 15 minutes between applications. Final decoration can begin approximately 2 hours after application, though drying times may vary based on ambient conditions and substrate porosity.
- Store upright after use.
Drying Time
Do not apply at temperatures below +10°C or on substrates with an RH reading above 90%. Under normal conditions, STAIN BLOCK will be touch dry in 15 minutes and ready for redecoration in approximately 2 hours.
