Ultra Waterseal is a masonry waterproofer which effectively repels exterior water while allowing water vapour to escape, keeping interiors and cavity walls dry. It protects surfaces against water and frost, forming a micro-porous coating that does not alter the building’s appearance. In addition, it helps repel waterborne dirt, resist fungal growth, and reduce heating costs by preventing damp walls from wasting energy. Suitable for use on brick, stone, concrete, masonry, and unglazed tiles, it is VOC-free, odourless, and has a low environmental impact, ensuring minimal hazard and no harmful vapours.

Bond It SILICONE ULTRA WATERSEAL is a silicone-based water repellent designed for exterior use. It prevents rain and moisture from entering the wall while allowing water vapour to evaporate, keeping walls drier, warmer, and protected from water damage. Suitable for brick, stone, concrete, and unglazed tiles, it shields surfaces from water and frost without altering the building’s appearance. Additionally, it helps repel waterborne dirt, resist fungal growth, and reduce heating costs by preventing energy loss from drying out damp walls.

 

 

Preparation:

Ensure surfaces are free from dirt, moss, and lichens. For tough growths, use Bond It MOULD STOP or PATIO BLASTER. Allow at least 24 hours for fresh pointing to dry before application. The surface should be clean and dry.

Application:

Shake well before use. Apply with a low-pressure (non-atomising) spray or brush at a rate of 3m² per liter for porous stone and 5m² per liter for hard brick. Start at the top and work downward, ensuring the surface is fully wetted. Two coats are needed; apply the second coat while the first is still wet or tacky. Take care to avoid splashing cars, windows, painted surfaces, plants, or ponds. Protect the surface from rain until fully cured.

Cleaning of Tools:

Clean tools with hot soapy water after use.

Limitations:

Bond It SILICONE ULTRA WATERSEAL is suitable only for unpainted brick, stone, and render. It can be overpainted with breathable paints after 14 days of weathering.
