EVO-STIK GRIPFILL is a high-strength, solvent-based grab adhesive designed for both interior and exterior use (when covered). It bonds to nearly any building material with exceptional strength and is particularly effective on uneven surfaces due to its gap-filling properties. This solvent-borne, filled rubber resin adhesive is specially formulated to bond various rigid materials, including wood-based boards, laminated plastics, rigid uPVC, insulation materials, and metal sheeting. It adheres securely to surfaces such as brick, stone, concrete, plaster, and insulation boards, provided one surface is porous.

Preparation & Application
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose material. Remove any paint from bonding areas, and degrease metal surfaces with detergent or an appropriate cleaner. Allow new concrete and plaster to fully dry before application. Porous surfaces like plaster should be primed with diluted Bostik PVA and dried thoroughly. Cut panels to size before bonding.
Fix the cartridge into the extruder, cut the nozzle to the required width, and break the seal. Apply a 6mm zig-zag bead onto one surface, pressing firmly for 30 seconds. Large panels require additional adhesive around the edges and at intervals. Some materials may need temporary support for up to 24 hours. Drying time varies depending on temperature, humidity, and adhesive thickness.
For stair nosings, window frames, and vertical surfaces, apply a continuous bead and press into place. If needed, use temporary support like panel pins. Allow drying overnight before further work. When bonding impervious materials, press them together, separate briefly to ensure adhesive transfer, then re-bond within five minutes. Battens should be fixed vertically with Gripfill beads applied to the back, ensuring secure contact with the wall.
Cleaning & Precautions
Uncured adhesive can be wiped away with white spirit; cured adhesive must be removed mechanically. Gripfill must be protected from prolonged moisture exposure and is unsuitable for mirrors, solvent-sensitive surfaces, bitumen, polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, or silicone rubber.
