Application Instructions
For optimal performance, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose material, standing water, or contaminants that could affect adhesion. FC1 Filler & Caulk should not be applied at temperatures below 5°C or in areas subject to constant water immersion. Non-porous surfaces, such as aluminum, should be cleaned with a suitable product before application.
Application Steps:
- Cut the cartridge at the nose above the thread.
- Screw on the nozzle and trim it to the desired size.
- Insert the cartridge into the application gun and pull the trigger to dispense the product.
- Apply FC1 firmly into the joint, ensuring a solid fill.
- Smooth the applied caulk to the required finish—no sanding necessary.
Additional Guidelines:
- Clean surrounding surfaces and tools with water after application.
- For joints subject to movement, such as larger construction joints, maintain a minimum joint size of 6mm x 6mm and a maximum of 25mm wide by 12mm deep.
- FC1 can be painted over with water-based paints within an hour and with solvent-based paints once fully cured.
