EVERBUILD EpoxySET NF is a two-pack, fine aggregate-filled, fast-curing epoxy resin bedding compound designed for applications where a non-slumping bedding material is needed. This stiff yet easily workable compound is ideal for bedding, gap filling, and concrete repairs. It can be applied using a trowel, spatula, or knife and cures to provide high mechanical properties, including excellent impact resistance and adhesion. It is resistant to oils, greases, salts, petroleum, acids, alkalis, and most common corrosive substances, with no shrinkage upon curing. It can be used in temperatures ranging from 5°C to 60°C and offers superior strength compared to concrete.

EVERBUILD EpoxySET NF is ideal for a variety of surface repair applications, including filling fine cracks, spalls, and gaps, as well as bedding fixtures and grouting. It can be used for repairing arrises, edge pieces, and vertical honeycomb concrete without the need for formwork, as well as securing bolts into walls and filling bolt pockets. This thixotropic epoxy mortar is also perfect for fixing slip bricks to concrete, bedding tiles, and repairing concrete posts in situ.

 

 

APPLICATION

Substrate Preparation

Ensure surfaces are clean and free from flaking material, dust, rust, and grease. Saw or chisel the edges to a defined area, with a depth of 3 mm. For steel surfaces, shot blast, grind, or emery to a bright finish and remove any residues.

Application Method / Tools

Wear impervious gloves during use. Mix the components thoroughly, as the pack is designed to be mixed easily by trowel. For larger quantities, use a portable mixer (such as the HD5 model). Apply the mixed mortar and trowel it to the desired finish using a clean steel trowel, wiping the trowel intermittently with white spirit to reduce drag. For deep recesses, build up the application in layers if necessary.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean tools immediately with white spirit.

LIMITATIONS

Always mix according to the instructions, using all components. Do not apply in areas where moisture may be trapped within the substrate or where hydrostatic pressure could break the bond. As the manufacturer cannot predict all possible uses, the user is responsible for determining suitability. If uncertain, contact Technical Services for advice.
