UltraCare HD Cleaner is ideal for tackling heavily soiled surfaces such as porcelain, ceramic, glass, unpolished natural stone, concrete, terracotta, and terrazzo. Used undiluted, it effectively removes stains and pre-treatment residues from porcelain tiles. With its strong cleaning and degreasing properties, it’s perfect for preparing ceramic and stone surfaces before “tile-on-tile” installations with cement-based adhesives or levelling compounds, ensuring full adhesion and preventing detachment. For optimal results in this application, follow with a thorough water rinse. It’s also excellent for restoring surfaces by removing previous water-based and metallic wax treatments.
To remove stains from porcelain tiles, use UltraCare HD Cleaner undiluted. Apply it to the stain and across the tile, allowing it to dry completely (around one hour at 23°C and 50% humidity). Then, wash and rinse with water; an abrasive sponge, like a white Scotch-Brite pad, can be used during washing. For deep cleaning, dilute UltraCare HD Cleaner with water in a 1:10 to 1:20 ratio. Apply the solution to the surface, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and then clean with a single-disc machine or emulsifying pad. Remove the solution and rinse with clean water. For tougher dirt or grease, increase the concentration with a 1:5 dilution and repeat the process if needed. Always rinse thoroughly with clean water afterward. To remove water-based or metallic wax treatments or to prepare surfaces for new applications, dilute UltraCare HD Cleaner 1:5, apply for 5-10 minutes, and clean with a single-disc machine or pad, rinsing afterward. Repeat as necessary. UltraCare HD Cleaner is also compatible with machine washers; follow the manufacturer’s instructions for optimal use.
