SikaCeram-62 FlowFix Bonding Primer is a ready-to-use, polymer-modified, cementitious primer that requires only water for mixing. Designed for superior adhesion, it ensures strong bonding of porcelain paving to wet bedding mortar. This high-strength primer is fast-curing, easy to mix, and can be applied with a brush or roller. SikaCeram-62 FlowFix Bonding Primer is designed for application on the underside of porcelain paving. It enhances adhesion, creating a strong and durable bond between the paving and the bedding mortar. Ideal for exterior paving installations, it ensures stability and longevity in various outdoor conditions.
Substrate Preparation:
Ensure tiles are clean, sound, and free from dust. Remove any organic growth before applying SikaCeram®-62 FlowFix Bonding Primer.
Mixing:
Gradually add 20 kg of SikaCeram®-62 FlowFix Bonding Primer to 4.4 L of clean water. Using a drill with a spiral mixer, mix for approximately three minutes, avoiding excessive air bubbles. Only prepare as much product as can be used within 25 minutes.
Application:
Apply a 1-2 mm layer of freshly mixed primer to the underside of the tile using a brush or roller. Immediately place the tile onto pre-prepared wet bedding mortar within 25 minutes at 20°C, ensuring the primer does not dry before placement. Adjust the tile to maintain level alignment and proper joint spacing.
