Arbomast GP is a one-part, oil-based sealant designed for general pointing and sealing in traditional construction, particularly for perimeter sealing of timber frames and joints between preformed concrete panels, such as in garage construction. While the sealant forms a surface skin, it remains pliable for years, allowing for durable protection. Arbomast GP can be overpainted, though a compatibility test with specific paint systems is advised. It is not recommended for use in expansion joints, high-movement joints, against natural stone, or in interior applications.

Arbomast GP is ideal for perimeter sealing of timber frames and joints between preformed concrete panels, such as in garage construction. While it can be overpainted, a compatibility test is recommended due to the wide range of paint systems available. It is not suitable for expansion joints or other areas with significant movement, nor is it recommended for use with natural stone or in interior applications.
Joint Preparation
Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry, and free from contamination. Use the appropriate ARBO® Cleaner to degrease the surfaces. Arbomast GP adheres well to many common construction substrates.
Joint Backing
Where applicable, use an appropriate joint filler, such as closed-cell polyethylene foam, to ensure the correct joint depth.
Application
Arbomast GP is supplied in 380ml polyethylene cartridges and should be applied using an ARBO Caulking Gun.
