Arbomeric MP10 stands as a singular Low Modulus Modified Polymer Sealant crafted for accommodating movement joints within blockwork, brickwork, curtain walling, and lightweight cladding. Upon exposure to moisture vapor, Arbomeric MP10 undergoes curing, transforming into an elastic rubber. This versatile sealant is available in various colors. While it can be painted over, it is advisable to consult Technical Service for guidance or conduct a pre-test to verify compatibility.

Arbomeric MP10 is suggested for application in diverse construction scenarios, Arbomeric MP10 is ideal for tasks such as sealing perimeters in curtain walling, sealing perimeters of polyester powder-coated frames, addressing structural joints in brickwork and blockwork, and managing joints in lightweight cladding. It’s important to note that this sealant is not recommended for use in floor joints.
APPLICATION
Preparation of Joints:
To ensure optimal performance, the surfaces of the joint must be meticulously prepared. They should be clean, dry, and devoid of any contaminants. Utilize the appropriate Arbo Cleaner for degreasing purposes. Certain substrates may necessitate the application of primers. It is advisable to seek guidance from Adshead Ratcliffe’s Technical Services Department for expert advice on selecting the right primer for specific applications.
Joint Backing:
For applicable cases, employ suitable joint filler like closed-cell polyethylene foam to achieve the correct joint depth.
Compliance with Standards:
All processes involving joint preparation, priming, and sealant application should adhere to BS 8000 Part 16, the British Standard governing the sealing of joints in buildings using sealants.
Application Procedure:
Arbomeric MP10 comes in 380ml polyethylene cartridges and can be seamlessly applied into the joint using an Arbo Caulking Gun.
