ARDEX WPM 200 Reinforcing Tape is a waterproof, self-adhesive tape coated with Butyl rubber and features a removable two-piece adhesive liner for ease of use, particularly when forming angles. WPM 200 is designed for reinforcing angles, corners, and joints beneath ARDEX WPM 200 Solvent-Free Multi-Purpose Epoxide Liquid Waterproof Membrane, this tape can also be lapped onto other damp-proof membranes with manufacturer approval. It provides flexible waterproofing for non-pressurized water applications.
APPLICATION
Apply the ARDEX WPM 200 Reinforcing Tape with the adhesive side facing down, removing the protective liner as you go, and press firmly to ensure full adhesion to the substrate. Cut the tape to the desired length using scissors or a suitable knife. When overlapping tape runs, ensure a minimum overlap of 50mm. The tape should be applied at room temperature, not exceeding 28°C.
