This high-quality siliconised acrylic sealant is designed for a wide range of interior and exterior applications. It offers superior adhesion compared to conventional acrylic sealants and provides a permanently flexible, long-lasting seal on almost any material. It contains a powerful fungicide to prevent mould growth and is overpaintable within one hour. This CE-approved sealant is ideal for sealing gaps around timber, metal, and PVCu window and door frames, filling cracks in brickwork, stone, plaster, and concrete, and bonding materials like polystyrene coving, cork tiles, and wood block flooring.

Bond It SUPER-MATE is suitable for both internal and external sealing around timber, metal, and PVCu window and door frames. It is perfect for filling gaps and cracks in various decorating applications, as well as sealing cracks in brickwork, stone, plaster, and concrete. Additionally, it can be used as an adhesive for bonding polystyrene coving, tiles, cork tiles, and wood block flooring, as well as for sealing PVCu profiles, cladding, and trims.
Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from dust and loose particles. For highly porous substrates like new plaster, prime with Bond It PVA BOND diluted 1:4 with water. The product can be applied to slightly damp, but not wet surfaces.
Application: Apply using a standard sealant gun. Cut the cartridge tip carefully to avoid damaging the thread. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, making the opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Smooth the sealant within 5-10 minutes using a wetted spatula, piece of wood, or Bond It SEALANT APPLICATOR TOOL. Be cautious not to saturate the surface, as this will delay drying. The sealant can be overpainted with water-based paints within 1 hour (once a skin forms) and oil-based paints after 24-48 hours once completely dry. Clean tools with soapy water before the product cures and remove excess sealant with a damp cloth.
Limitations: Protect externally sealed areas from water for at least 12 hours in high humidity. Cure time is extended in damp or cold conditions. Not for use with bitumen or asphalt, or in areas requiring abrasion resistance or continuous water immersion. Not suitable for baths or shower trays—use Bond It S3 SILICONE instead. Do not overpaint until a skin forms, but overpainting is not essential. This product is flexible and not designed for joints with high movement.
