APPLICATION
- Ensure usage in a well-ventilated area to promote proper air circulation.
- Prior to application, ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, dry, and free from any dust, grease, or other contaminants.
- Substrates, especially laminates, should be conditioned before assembly. Condition for 48 hours at 20°C with a relative humidity of 45-55%, allowing free air circulation around all components.
- Hold the aerosol at approximately a 70° angle to the surface and apply a generous, even coat of adhesive, ensuring 80-100% coverage. Move the aerosol parallel to the surface, paying particular attention to the edges.
- For porous surfaces, a second coat may be necessary. Always apply to the laminate first and spray one surface horizontally and the other vertically.
- Once the adhesive is dry to the touch and does not transfer, it is ready for bonding.
- Bring the two surfaces together and apply uniform pressure, starting from the middle and working outwards. Pay close attention to the edges.
- Drying time is approximately 2 minutes under normal conditions, but may vary depending on temperature and humidity levels. High humidity and low temperatures will slow drying time, and extremely low temperatures may produce bloom. Full cure takes 24 hours.
- Avoid over-spraying and pooling of the adhesive, as this will increase drying time and may cause the adhesive to show through the laminate. Bond surfaces only after allowing the adhesive to fully dry to prevent solvent entrapment, which can lead to bond failure.
- It is the user’s responsibility to dispose of all packaging properly.
- For cleaning, Web Spray Aerosol can be removed with most solvent cleaners.
LIMITATIONS
- Prior to application, always conduct a small sample test of the materials to confirm the product’s suitability for the intended application. Certain vinyls may contain significant amounts of plasticizer that can migrate and weaken the bond over time. When uncertain, perform a test beforehand.
- Avoid usage on flexible PVC or expanded polystyrene surfaces.
- The user is accountable for ensuring the product’s suitability for their intended use. It is recommended to review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before usage.
- Thoroughly read the label for crucial health and safety information prior to application.
