It can be applied in wet conditions, even on wet surfaces, and in temperatures as low as -5°C, offering immediate waterproofing without the risk of wash-off. The product dries to a flexible membrane that resists algae and fungal growth, and its high fibre reinforcement allows it to bridge small cracks and holes up to 5mm. - Instant waterproofing with no risk of wash-off.
- Bridges cracks and holes up to 5mm with a single application.

Evercryl Emergency Roof Repair is ideal for general sealing, maintenance, repair, and waterproofing of various common roofs in both wet and dry conditions. It can be used on concrete, fibre/cement, roofing felt, mastic asphalt, bituminous roof coatings, rigid uPVC, corrugated iron, metals, slates, bricks, tiles, lead, copper, and zinc. It is also effective for waterproofing guttering (plastic and metal), downpipes, gullies, flashings, upstands, vents, and leadwork.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Before applying any roof coating, ensure the roof is structurally sound and stable. Inspect the roof structure and make necessary repairs. Replace or refix any cracked, broken, slipped, or missing slates, tiles, sheets, or other coverings. Fill any cracks in felt or asphalt. (Note: Do not coat roof lights, windows, glass, or translucent sheets as they can create a hidden hazard.) Surface preparation is crucial for optimal adhesion and longevity of the coating. All roof surfaces should be clean, stable, and free from loose debris, dust, dirt, and grease. Remove any algae and fungi using a stiff-bristled brush. If algae or fungi are present, treat the surface with EVERBUILD FUNGICIDAL WASH to kill remaining spores and prevent regrowth. Repair any holes or loose materials using BLACK JACK BITUMEN MASTIC, and adhere loose felt with BLACK JACK ROOF FELT ADHESIVE. Cut, dry, re-bond, and seal any blisters in roofing felt. Degrease new metal surfaces with a suitable solvent and treat rusty surfaces with a rust-inhibitive primer, such as zinc phosphate. Prime non-bituminous, porous, or friable surfaces with BLACK JACK BITUMEN AND FLASHING PRIMER, allowing it to dry thoroughly before application.
APPLICATION
Wear gloves and appropriate face/eye protection. This product is flammable; eliminate all sources of ignition. Cut the cartridge tip carefully, ensuring the thread remains undamaged, and apply the special nozzle. In extreme cases, a second application can be applied 2-3 days after the first.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
Clean tools with white spirit.
LIMITATIONS
Avoid use in areas where solvent or oil contact is likely. Do not inhale vapours. Not suitable for use on Styrofoam or PVC foil. As the manufacturer cannot foresee all potential uses, it is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability. If in doubt, consult the technical services department for advice.
