Everbuild Everflex 195 Siliconised Acrylic Sealant is a siliconised acrylic sealant, suitable for internal and external use, that provides a permanently flexible long lasting seal which adheres to virtually all materials. Everflex 195 has a powerful fungicide to prevent mould growth and improved adhesion characteristics when compared to conventional acrylic sealants.

APPLICATION
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean and dust free. Highly porous surfaces should first be primed with Everbuild PVA bond diluted 1:4 with water.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
Using a sharp knife, or the Bond-it Snip Off Tool, cut the tip of the cartridge. Take care not to damage the thread. Apply using a standard sealant gun. Ideally, the joint depth should be half of the width. Smooth down within 20 minutes of application using a wetted spatula or piece of wood. You should take care at this point not to soak the surface because this will delay drying. The product can be overpainted after 60 minutes.
CLEANING TOOLS
Any excess sealant can be cleaned away using a sponge dampened in lukewarm water.
LIMITATIONS
– Not for use in conjunction with bitumen.
– Do not attempt to abrade when cured.
– Can not be used around shower trays.
– Overpainting is not necessary. However, the product can be painted.
Note: this product is flexible. Certain inferior quality paints (especially certain vinyl matts) have minimal movement in the dry film. It is possible for the dry paint film to crack if the movement is excessive. Should not be used in a condition of continuous immersion, below ground level, in areas of high abrasion (e.g. floor joints).
