EVERBUILD Flue Cement is a high-temperature, ready-mixed fireproof mortar paste designed for the safe installation and jointing of Type A1 concrete flue liners (BS EN 1857), typically used in domestic fires and stoves, including coal, wood-burning, and gas units. It can also be used as general-purpose fire cement in applications where direct flame contact occurs. The cement is fully rated and independently tested by BSRIA to meet the BS EN 1857 standard for concrete flue liners, offering high temperature resistance up to 1250°C, including direct flame exposure.

EVERBUILD Flue Cement is designed for jointing and assembling domestic concrete flue liners, including types A1, B1, and C1 (BS EN 1857), or their direct equivalents, with a corrosion class 3 rating for chimneys conveying combustion products. Independent BSRIA test reports are available upon request.
Substrate Quality/Pre-Treatment:
Ensure all surfaces are clean and dry. For dusty surfaces, prime with a mixture of 4 parts water to 1 part PVA Bond and allow it to dry.
Application:
Apply using a cartridge gun. Cut the cartridge tip carefully to avoid damaging the thread, then attach the nozzle and cut it to the correct size. Follow the liner manufacturer’s instructions for application.
Limitations:
As liner and block types may vary, always check the compatibility of this product with the liner manufacturer’s system and follow their installation guidelines. Protect joints from rain until construction is complete. In accordance with current standards, all flues must be smoke tested after insulation and again once the appliance is fitted, in line with BS 5440 Part 1 or an equivalent standard by an approved installer, before being put into service. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the product’s suitability by consulting with the flue liner manufacturer prior to installation.
