ROCKWOOL FirePro Intumescent Putty Pads Internal Double are made from a non-setting, flexible silicone-based intumescent polymer with low smoke emission. In the event of a fire, the pads activate at 200°C, expanding to fill the space left by burnt-out socket boxes, creating a seal that prevents the spread of fire and smoke. These pads provide up to 2 hours of fire resistance and are available for both single and double sockets. They also offer tested acoustic performance, adding soundproofing benefits.
