Sealoflex Sanitary HM MAX is a high-modulus sealant designed to prevent mould, mildew, and bacteria growth for up to 10 years, thanks to its fungicidal properties. Ideal for industrial, commercial, and domestic settings, it’s perfect for areas prone to high humidity, such as bathrooms, kitchens, showers, baths, wet rooms, and sanitary installations. HM MAX provides permanent waterproofing and is also suitable for use around doors, window frames, or other areas exposed to high condensation.

Sealoflex Sanitary HM MAX is ideal for the following applications:
• Sealing around bathtubs, sinks, and shower trays.
• Ideal for a wide range of sanitary applications.
• Perfect for general sealing and caulking applications.
• Effective for sealing between glass surfaces.
• Sealing between different materials, including uPVC, aluminum, composite, and timber frames into masonry, brick, and plaster walls.
• Useful in industrial sealing and bonding projects.
• Waterproofing rimless sinks.
• General weatherproofing and draft-proofing applications.
APPLICATION
Apply the sealant using a standard sealant gun, cutting the nozzle at a 45° angle to create an opening slightly larger than the joint being sealed.
For bath surrounds: Fill the bath halfway with water before applying the sealant at the joint’s midpoint. Masking tape may be used if needed. For larger gaps, use polyethylene foam rods or tape to provide support and reduce sealant waste. Smooth the sealant within 5 minutes using a wet spatula or the finishing tool. Allow the silicone to fully cure before draining the bath. Any trims should be placed into the silicone within 5 minutes.
For sealing waste outlets in sinks and baths: Apply HM MAX so that it compresses when the connecting pipes are tightened.
For metalized plastic trims: Test for discoloration from the sealant before application.
