Soudal B2 Expanding Fire Foam is a portable FIRE RATED single-component expanding polyurethane foam filler with swift curing capabilities. Boasting outstanding thermal and acoustic insulation attributes, it exhibits superb adhesion without the need for a primer on a wide range of construction materials.

Soudal B2 Expanding Fire Foam is suitable for the following applications:

  • Installation of window and door frames.
  • Filling cavities.
  • Sealing all openings in roof constructions.
  • Application of an acoustic baffle.
  • Enhancement of thermal isolation in cooling systems.

 

 

APPLICATION

  1. Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Attach the adapter to the valve. Before application, dampen surfaces with a water sprayer.
  3. For unconventional substrates, itโ€™s advisable to conduct a preliminary adhesion test.
  4. Release pressure from the applicator to stop dispensing. Allow the foam to expand when filling holes and cavities.
  5. Shake the can periodically during application. If working in layers, moisten the surface after each layer.
  6. Use Soudal Gun & Foamcleaner or acetone to remove fresh foam. Test surfaces for compatibility before applying Gun & Foamcleaner, as certain materials like plastics and painted layers may be sensitive.
  7. Cured foam can only be removed mechanically or with Soudal PURemover.
  8. Operating temperature range: +5 ยฐC to 30 ยฐC.
  9. Ambient temperature for application: +5 ยฐC to 30 ยฐC.
  10. Surface temperature for application: +5 ยฐC to 35 ยฐC.

LIMITATIONS

Dampen surfaces using a water sprayer before applying. If working in layers, repeat the moistening process after each layer. For uncommon surfaces, it is advisable to perform an adhesion test.
