Bond It Mould Release Oil is a high-quality solution designed for use on all types of standard formwork materials, providing a clean release when casting concrete. It ensures smooth, uniform, and hard concrete finishes with fewer blow holes after formwork removal, and is safe to use with white cement. This agent can be applied to plywood, timber, steel, and plastic-faced formwork before the first pour, and re-applied after stripping and cleaning for subsequent pours. It offers excellent coverage, reduces rust and corrosion, and enhances the reusability of formwork.

Bond It MOULD RELEASE OIL is a chemical release agent designed for use on mould and shutter surfaces before casting concrete, ensuring a clean release upon removal of formwork. It also provides protection for formwork, preventing steel corrosion and delaying early aging. Suitable for use on plywood, timber, steel, ABS, polyurethane, and plastic-faced formwork, this product is formulated with highly refined mineral oils. It results in a high-quality, stain-free concrete finish with minimal blow holes.
Preparation: Ensure all formwork is clean and dry before application.
Application: Bond It MOULD RELEASE OIL is ready to use and does not require dilution. Apply it before the first concrete pour and reapply before subsequent pours, immediately after stripping and cleaning the mould. Application can be done using spray or a fine-haired brush. Avoid excessive application; only a thin coating is needed. If new timber or plywood absorbs the product entirely, a second application should be made. When used as per the manufacturer’s coverage guidelines, it will not negatively impact concrete or the adhesion of subsequent coatings. For plywood and timber moulds, performance may vary based on impregnation and operative experience. If applying over moulds treated with other mould oils, ensure excess material has been removed. For spray application, use a nozzle that creates a fine mist. Mop up any excessive material to avoid surface retardation.
