EVERBUILD Heat Resistant Silicone is a high-temperature resistant, fast-curing silicone sealant that withstands temperatures up to 275°C. It is permanently flexible, making it ideal for use in joints and assemblies in ducting, metal chimneys, ovens, and heating appliances. This silicone offers excellent adhesion to most non-porous surfaces and cures quickly, becoming tack-free within 1 hour.

Everbuild Heat Resistant Silicone is ideal for high-temperature joints and assemblies in ducting, metal chimneys, industrial and domestic ovens, and heating appliances, as well as for use as a gasket sealant.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and contaminants. Improve adhesion by wiping the surface with white spirit. Priming is usually not required, but testing small areas before use is recommended.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
Cut the cartridge tip carefully, ensuring the thread is not damaged. Attach the nozzle and cut at a 45-degree angle, slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Apply using a standard sealant gun, maintaining consistent pressure and angle for best results. Smooth down the sealant with a spatula or a piece of wood wetted with a soap-and-water solution within 15 minutes of application. For a neater finish, apply masking tape to both sides of the joint and remove it within 5 minutes.
LIMITATIONS
Do not use on porous surfaces like brick, concrete, or stone. Avoid using on soft metals such as lead or surfaces that release oils or plasticizers. The user is responsible for determining suitability—contact Technical Services for advice if needed.
